What is it?
Apprenticeships are for people looking to gain nationally recognised qualifications while earning a wage and gaining first-hand workplace skills.
What are the options?
There are three options for an apprenticeship with Orchard Hill College:
- We employ apprentices who work with us and also gain their qualifications with us – so you can work and study with us
- If you already have a job and would like to get qualified, we can run the training for you – so you work elsewhere, but study with us
- If you are interested in a Finance or other apprenticeship, you can work with us, but choose to study elsewhere
What qualifications do I need?
To apply for an apprenticeship you need maths and English GSCEs at grade A* to D, or Functional Skills in maths and English at Level 1.
How long does an apprenticeship take?
It can take from 12 to 18 months to complete an apprenticeship. In this time you have the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience and qualifications, setting you on the path to career success.
