At the end of the Spring Term, students at Lomond House enjoyed 'a creative journey through the jungle’, a drama workshop which was part of Learner Voice Week.
Through movement, voice and sensory stimulation they explored sounds, textures and animals that may be found in the jungle.
The session was hugely enjoyable opportunity for students to express themselves creatively. They were able to practice their communication and teamwork skills, and the session encouraged them to be confident in decision-making. Working collaboratively with students from different classrooms also allowed them to build new peer relationships.
Learning Support Assistant, Sophie, said “the students seemed to really enjoy the session; there was some great energy in the room!”
