Our Work Placements Manager Amanda has been visiting last year’s Trainees to see how they’re getting along at work.

Fern is currently running the café in the Kingfisher Centre Kingston (Places for People). Fern is extremely happy in her work and enjoys the responsibility that goes with her role. The manager praised Fern on her hard work and how she has become an asset to the company. Fern enthused about the up and coming training she will be receiving around different areas of the centre and felt she would stay here for a few years to gain the experience then she would like to move into a senior position in one of the other centres! Fern will also be mentoring and supporting one of our new Trainees in her work placement.
