Bradley started his new work placement at Westbourne Primary School just before half term. Every Thursday afternoon he visits the year 6 children in Trent class. Bradley is asked to prepare a resource linked to the school curriculum by the class teacher Mrs Bolton. Bradley will spend up to 2 hours working solidly to prepare the resource on the computer without the need for frequent breaks out of the classroom. In small groups Bradley shares the presentation he has made using the Pictello app on the iPad and asks the children questions based on the topic covered. In turn, the children have been showing Bradley some of the work they have been doing in class.
Bradley really engages with the children and is learning valuable lessons in relation to how he interacts with them, learning important lessons about professionalism and being in a work environment, and he is making brilliant progress in all areas. Well done, Bradley!
