Students in Pinewood class at Lomond House decided they would like to start running a weekly enterprise scheme. The group discussed their strengths and what would be a good project to start and together decided on one thing that everyone loves: food! On Tuesday, the class held a 'taster day' at Lomond House where they offered three panini options for customers to choose from, receiving great feedback from everyone who tried one.

As a class, each student worked fantastically both in a team and managing their own tasks, all while observing good health and safety practice. Everyone who took part is really pleased with the success of their enterprise project and is looking forward to start taking order for the next session.

Deschaun will be starting his catering work experience next week so he will be transferring the skills he learnt from this project to his work placement, so it was a great taster session for him to get to grips with some tasks involved in catering.
