Students from St Philip's have been working with Chessington Community College and Ellingham Primary School on a project to create a sensory garden for Chessington school children with special educational needs.

Chessington World of Adventures and Chessington Garden Centre have been helping the project come to life and now that ground works are nearly finished, the project has been handed over to the schools, who are now looking for residents to volunteer to help complete the work before the next school year begins in September.

Mayor of Kingston, Julie Pickering said "it is wonderful to see Chessington Community getting involved in building this local sensory Garden for its School community. I am delighted to see local business, organisations and individuals supporting it!"
