Last term, Wayne, a Community Support Worker from the Metropolitan Police, came in and gave an amazing talk to students at the Beaconsfield Centre about staying safe in the community. He discussed some key topics about staying safe, these included; stranger danger, keeping personal possessions safe and anti-bullying.

Students explored and experienced different aspects of the police force and identified who to ask for help in the community. Students also got to try on some of the uniform, which they loved!

A member of staff said “Wayne did a great job at getting everyone involved and keeping them engaged throughout the session. Students learnt an important message and particular enjoyed trying on the uniform!”
