St Philip's School is part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Campaign for School Gardening which promotes all aspects of gardening in schools.

We have already achieved a Level 2 Certificate and last term we gained Level 3 status. To pass this level we have to be good at preparing ground to plant in, to grow a range of fruits, vegetables and flowers, encourage wildlife, recycle waste and make compost. To celebrate this achievement RHS has given us vouchers that will supply us with seedlings and small plants over the next year. The plants will be delivered to the school all ready to grow each half term and we simply plant them out into our gardens.
