Georgina, one of our students at Lomond House in Camberwell, has been enjoying a fantastic work placement at Lambeth College’s ‘ReCo Shop SW4’.
The shop is a student-run social enterprise, designed to train students to work in the retail sector. Georgina took part in a one-day taster session which went so well she’s going to continue her placement throughout June. The experience has given her access to learn about applying her skills to a professional retail environment, and she’s gained so much that she now hopes to enrol onto a retail course at Lambeth College after she finishes her studies at Orchard Hill College.
Georgina’s Senior Teaching Aide says “she was so happy and proud to have attended and taken part. This is a great step towards a bright future for Georgina!”
