Students in Gherkin class took part in a music and movement session that got everyone up and about! Students chose which musical instruments they would like to play, and in groups and pairs, explored their creative music skills with an amazing jamming session!
The session gave students an opportunity to explore self-expression and communication skills through a new medium. During the session staff members could see before them the increase in confidence of students, and the sheer enjoyment of taking part. Everyone was extremely proud of the music they made as a group.
The group’s Senior Teaching Aide, Mohammed, says “without doubt, this was the best session we have had this term. It was absolutely amazing.”
