For some time Young People’s Academy has been participating in the Dallaglio Foundation’s RugbyWorks Scheme. This scheme was set up by Lawrence Dallaglio and helps young people change their lives for the better through the platform and values of rugby.

One of our students, was chosen from the whole of the scheme, which operates nationally, by the Dallaglio Foundation to talk about the impact the scheme has had on his life. The film was shown at a fundraising event which showed how Impetus PEF (one of the main funding contributors to the Dallaglio Foundation) and many other charities have contributed to transform disadvantaged children’s lives.

Thomas not only featured in the film, but he and his family were invited to the event at the London Dorchester Hotel, where he also went on stage and received £200 Amazon vouchers.
