Our student William has started work experience placement at Beddington Park, assisting the Parks Team to keep the whole area clean for the community to enjoy.
William is making fantastic progress at his work placement, staying engaged and focussed on tasks and needing minimal support. He is working as part of a team, raking the leaves from the rivers and putting them in to piles so the park keeper can collect them, and is doing so well he will soon be moving on to other horticultural tasks.
This work placement is helping William to learn skills necessary to secure more work in the future such as communication, following instructions, working as a team, adjusting to working with new people, and adhering to health and safety procedures.
Keep up the great work, William!
