Students from Lomond House in Camberwell Green had a fantastic time joining Lambeth Learning Disability Forum to discuss what changes they would like to see in their community in 2017.
After a group discussion, students had communicated they would like to have more community buses, more opportunities for young people with learning difficulties, more work opportunities, and music, dancing and singing classes in the community.
Students seized the opportunity to share their ideas and experiences with their peers, voice their concerns and moreover, discuss their ideas for positive changes in their community.
The group has been invited to the next forum later this month, so we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in Lambeth!
