Orchard Hill College students decided to get involved in Global’s Make Some Noise campaign.

The charity was created by Global, the media and entertainment group, and helps to change young lives “by supporting specially selected projects up and down the country, which deliver life-changing work to youngsters and their families in their communities.

Yesterday our students held a brilliant event to raise funds and awareness of Make Some Noise. They sold vegetables grown in our allotment, freshly made pickles and jams, tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits, bric-a-brac and general goods donated by staff and students, and some went in to the community to hand out flyers about the campaign. It was such a brilliant day that not only raised money for the charity, but enabled our students in so many ways.

Overall, the national campaign raised almost £2million, what an amazing event to be part of!
