After a successful visit last year, we welcomed The London Science Museum Team back to Carew this year.

The Lower school students were treated to visually stimulating workshops about Light and shadows and States of Matter. They witnessed what happened to bananas in plunging temperatures of -20oC and how to make ice cream in seconds using liquid nitrogen!

In the afternoon, the whole of the school were able to see the entertaining ‘Feel the Force’ which explained what happens when forces are applied to different objects including special guest, Phil the frog!

We hope your child talked enthusiastically about their day and that they appreciate that science is an intrinsic part of our lives.
