Students at Lomond House enjoyed 'Lambeth Bus Day', a road safety session delivered by Laura Cheyne from Lambeth Council Road Danger Reduction and the Metropolitan Police.
The session leaders acted out a number of scenarios to show students how to travel safely on public transport and identify safe people who would be able to offer help if needed. They also covered road safety with lots of tips on looking after yourself in the community.
One student, Peter, said the day was 'awesome', and LSA Lorena said “It was fantastic. The message from the performances was very clear for the students and the instructions were clear so students were engaged throughout. They absolutely loved it!”
