A number of students were excited to be invited to a formal awards event to receive their Jack Petchey Awards.
The award has recognised outstanding achievement for a number of our students, including Joshua who has come on leaps and bounds with developing his social skills, so much that he now leads Student Council meetings and represents his peers as a Student Ambassador. Another winner was Yasmin, who has developed skills around living skills in the home and community, and contributing to understanding the wider world and different relationships.
The awards were presented by the Mayor of Sutton, and it was a fantastic event enjoyed by all. Head of Centre Indy Sunner says that "working in collaboration with our partnerships to recognised life-changing events are a real opportunity to be proud of our students. Jack Petchey has been a part of our journey in celebrating achievements including the collaboration with the Mayor of Sutton."
Congratulations to all our well-deserved a winners!
