Last week Carew students ended the term in style! Staff spent all morning preparing and making the Great Hall look incredible, with decorations everywhere and large round tables set and dressed for the occasion. The festive atmosphere was added to with live music played by Mr Shepherd, who played favourite Christmas songs during the meal, with everyone wearing Christmas hats and the sound of laughter as crackers were pulled between friends.

Joining the meal were visitors from Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust, and a very special guest, Mavis Peart, who has shown her support for Carew Academy for years.

Staff and students had a brilliant day, with one staff member saying “This celebration is getting bigger and better each year. I’m looking forward to what next year has in store already!”
