Year 10 pupils from The Link Secondary School are very excited to have completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award (Dof E). They have had to work extremely hard to achieve their goal, but their hard work will soon be recognised as representatives from the DofE will visit their school and present them will their awards after half term.

In preparation for the visit, pupils have put together a presentation describing the two expeditions they had been on over the summer which involved two days and one night spent in the local countryside. The pupils worked together in teams to navigate, set up camp and cook their own food. They all had a really positive experience and one pupil said: “It’s one amazing adventure that I will never forget!”
