Back by popular demand – and this time with Bingo!!

After such a great success with the coffee morning last term, staff and students visited the same local residential home, this time for a coffee afternoon. Residents commented on feedback forms from the last visit that they would love to get involved in a group activity of some kind. Students put their heads together and came up with the idea of Bingo.

Students were able to work together to plan a job list. Each student was able to contribute to the coffee afternoon by organising Bingo, table service, preparing refreshments, cleaning and delivering feedback sheets. This was a great way for students to apply work skills within a community setting.

Nathan, Senior Teaching Aide at Lomond House said “All students did so well! They were able to greet residents and entertain effectively! They worked together as a brilliant team and delivered a fantastic service! Well done everyone!”
