Learner Voice Week at Orchard Hill College was jam packed with exciting projects and activities for students at the end of term, one of which was a pool tournament organised by Nathan, a student from our Centre in Carshalton.

Nathan is a dedicated pool player and also has an interest in organising events so he really enjoyed the project. We had students from all of our Centres at Hurricane Room, Tooting, all playing friendly matches against one another – from beginners to professionals, all matched up accordingly.

Students didn’t want to leave when the time was up and the tournament has been the talk of the College since then. Watch this space for round 2!!

Student Jervaise, who was a first time player said “playing pool is so much fun – I am going to try to play over Easter with my family and friends.”
