Carew students and staff were beaming with pride when they attended the formal awards ceremony receive their Jack Petchey Awards.

The award has recognised outstanding achievement for a number of students including Julie, who has increased her leadership skills and confidence in her role as House Captain. Shivanya’s nomination stemmed from her personal development through her role as a Council representative , and Toni was awarded for her contribution to performing arts at school. Another winner, Lewis, was awarded for his proactive approach to school life as a member of a number of clubs and groups including the school radio station and Step Into Dance after school club.

The awards were presented by the Mayor of Sutton, and it was a fantastic event enjoyed by everyone. Congratulations to all our winners!
