After working with Places for People for three successful years, Lecturer on the Traineeship, Amanda Stark started putting together some case studies of the amazing work her students' have been doing. These case studies were then entered into the Active Training Awards.

The Active Training Awards celebrate exceptional performance and commitment in the physical activity sector, specifically that of vocational education, training and development. Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust are very excited to have made it to the final! Stay tuned - the results will be revealed on the 30th November 2016!

Due to high demand, the Active Training Workshop will this year become a full Conference, where attendees will join over 200 delegates to hear from experts in skills and training. The event held at Hilton, Reading on 30th November, promises a stimulating day, followed by the highly-anticipated awards ceremony, where winners of the Active Training Awards 2016 will be revealed.

Amanda said "This is great evidence of how well our students have achieved from attending the traineeship and I am so proud of all the work they are doing."
