Orchard Hill College are proud to partner with Leonard Cheshire Disability to offer students media learning opportunities at The Ability Media Centre in Southwark. A group of our students and staff are based there this year.
The Ability Media Centre aims to give disabled and disadvantaged people access to the skills and practical knowledge they need to express themselves through all forms of digital media.
The Centre is the first of its kind and has been purpose built to provide students with accessible training in a number of media disciplines. These courses range from Radio Production, right through to Animation and Final Cut Pro.
Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services to disabled people. They help people with physical impairments, learning difficulties and long-term health conditions, as well as their carers, friends and families.
